Front Range Community College’s Associate of Applied Science degree in Highway Maintenance Management, developed in collaboration with Colorado DOT, is the first and only highway management program in the nation. This 2-year program can be completed entirely online and prepares highway maintenance employees to pursue management positions in Highway Maintenance at federal, state, county, municipal agencies and private sector industry organizations. Students will develop skills in project management, planning, supervision, communication, and team building.

Check out AASHTO’s podcast episode: Maintenance Goes to College, where the program’s director, Susan Baillargeon, explains the how it began and what students can expect.
