Course Summary:
This classroom course is designed to teach participants what a confined space is, how it differs in construction from other industries, potential hazards and how to eliminate them, ventilation and rescue practices and procedures, and employer/employee rights and responsibilities.
Learning Objectives:
For anyone working with road construction in areas where confined spaces are possible, this class is a must. Participants learn how to:
- Identify hazards
- Obtain & properly use permits
- Protect and rescue
- Know & support employer/employee rights & responsibilities
Intended Audience:
Anyone involved with in working with spaces that are or could be confining.
