November 16, 17, and 18, from 7:00 am to 10:00 am Pacific Time – up to 9 PDHs

This course is intended for inspectors and contractors with the appropriate information needed to enhance the probability of optimal barrier installations. Specifically, participants should have a better understanding of the following after attending this course:

• Basic highway barrier design principles for an understanding of HOW/WHY the barrier is designed and should be installed.
• Identify possible deficiencies in new barrier designs or existing installations.
• Avoid common errors in barrier and terminal installations to optimize crash performance and reduce liability.
• Know whether damaged hardware can still function as intended and possible remedial actions.
