Description
Southern Nevada Laborers Union co-sponsors this 4-hour certification course, which has been approved by the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and covers procedures for flaggers working on NDOT projects. All flaggers on these projects must have a certification of training in their possession while working. Topics include work zone hazards and safety; state regulations; flagging personal protective equipment; and flagging procedures.
Flagger Training is an elective of the Road Scholar program.

Flagger training is offered through the Southern Nevada Laborers Union. To enroll, you must complete and sign the registration form. You can register multiple people using one form. Email the form to tsmith@appliedpavement.com to complete. The registration form is found here.
The in-person sessions will take place at Southern Nevada Laborers’ Training Center, 1750 E Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89104. Be sure to review NVLTAP's classroom COVID-19 requirements.
The registration fee is $75 and is payable by check or credit card. Discounted fees are considered for local agencies.
