This 4-hour training is designed to inform participants of the dangers of unsafe trenching and excavations. Trench Safety and Shoring identifies soil types, defines safety precautions, and reveals warning signs are revealed.

It applies to all types of trenching excavations and construction near roadways and foundations. Many examples of proper techniques and failures will be examined to prevent fatalities and promote safety. Students will be encouraged to participate and learn as a group. Participation is documented through a short quiz and an attendance record.
