This introductory, 4-hour course (June 29–30, 1–3:30 pm PT both days) on construction stormwater pollution control addresses the following topics:
- Background of construction stormwater pollution control regulations.
- Construction site stormwater inspections procedures.
- Installation techniques of pollution control measures.
- Proper maintenance of sediment and erosion control measures.
The course also provides an overview of a stormwater pollution prevention plan and its essential elements. The course is intended for personnel who are responsible for implementing stormwater control measures on construction sites. Stormwater Pollution Control can also help participants achieve the “qualified person or qualified personnel” designation required by the stormwater construction general permit to perform construction site stormwater inspections.
Stormwater Pollution Control is an elective course in the Road Scholar Program.
