The National Center for Rural Road Safety and NLTAPA Safety Work Group are co-hosting a FREE, 1.5-hour online webinar entitled What’s Speed Got to do With It: Speed Management Strategies.

This webinar will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:30 am PT

In celebration of Rural Road Safety Awareness Week 2023, join us for Part 1 of our summer series on speed! In this webinar, you will hear from experts in Washington and Connecticut on their speed management strategies, as well as:

  • Learn about Safe System approach to safety and injury minimization in Washington State.
  • Gain insights into scoping and delivering speed management safety projects.
  • Learn how the CT Safety Circuit Rider Program was able to offer all 169 CT municipalities free speed feedback signs and speed management training.
  • Hear how the speed sign data is being used by municipalities, CT DOT and the CT Safety Research Center, as a part of a broader CT speed management strategy.
