Opening session of Module 2 (Production). Builds a coherent mental model of how an asphalt plant reproduces the Job Mix Formula (JMF) it receives from Materials, end to end – plant types, core components, and material flow. Foundational, not a deep technical course. Attendees will be able to: – Distinguish batch and drum plants and where each fits – Trace material flow from cold feeds through drying, mixing, storage, and loadout – Identify the core plant components and the job each one does – Explain how the plant holds gradation, binder content, and temperature to reproduce the JMF
