FHWA: NHI-142078 Planning and Environment Linkages (PEL) course

- FHWA is offering a two-day instructor-led NHI-142078 Planning and Environment Linkages (PEL) course. Integrating PEL into the transportation planning and environment review processes promotes more informed decision-making and accelerated project delivery. FHWA Offices, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), State DOTs, Division Offices, Resource Agencies, MPOs, local public agencies, and consultants/contractors also can request to host the NHI-142078 PEL course and invite transit, planners, freight, and engineers to attend their course. NHI-142078 can be scheduled as an in-person or virtual two-day course. PEL course hosts will be provided an NHI instructor and an FHWA Office of Planning, Office of Environment, or Resource Center instructor.
