SUMMARY:Selecting the Right Pavement Preservation Projects (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:A successful pavement preservation program is built upon an agency’s ability to select the right pavements for pavement preservation. \nThis 3-hour virtual training identifies core decision-making factors for project selection\, focusing on the types of distress and pavement/environmental conditions encountered in Nevada. The training also describes additional factors the agency can include in the selection process based on its pavement data collection program and pavement management software capabilities. \nBy the end of the training\, you will be able to: \n\nDescribe distresses common to flexible pavements.\nIdentify factors to consider when selecting projects for pavement preservation.\nDescribe the condition of a pavement using pavement data.

SUMMARY:Selecting the Right Pavement Preservation Treatments (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:Once you have identified that projects are appropriate for pavement preservation\, the next step is to identify appropriate treatments and select the best option. \nThis 2 1/2-hour virtual training introduces a process for selecting appropriate preservation treatments. During the training\, you will learn how to complete each step of the process. You will also complete exercises to apply the process using real project information. \nYou are encouraged to bring information about preservation treatments used by your agency to share in class. This may include treatment costs\, treatment results\, or materials issues. Your experiences can improve the treatment selection process for everyone! \nBy attending\, you will learn to: \n\nUse pavement condition and other information to identify appropriate preservation treatment options.\nIdentify decision-making factors to select the best treatment option.
