SUMMARY:Road Safety Champion Program - Module 3: Introduction to Traffic Safety Culture
DESCRIPTION:The overall Road Safety Champion Program provides a high-level overview of road safety in the United States through seven modules. Module 3–Introduction to Traffic Safety Culture trains users to begin to see how they can identify safety issues in their everyday (work and non-work related) tasks. By the end of the virtual training\, participants will be able to: \n\nUnderstand the myriad environmental\, cultural\, and other factors that influence behavior in order to develop an effective plan to promote behavior change and enhanced safety culture\,\nExplain the role of local agency safety culture in improving the safety of all road users\, and\nBe able to communicate the importance of safety in a manner that fosters greater organizational\, employee\, and/or public safety culture.
