The course also discusses design challenges and options\, based on engineering design guidelines\, for engineers and designers. \nFamiliarity with the U.S. Access Board’s draft Proposed Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities in the Public Right-of-Way is recommended\, but not required\, prior to attending this course.
