By applying the information learned in the workshop\, you can improve how you manage project risks\, communications\, delivery\, and scheduling. \n\n\n\nBy the end the workshop\, you’ll be able to: \n\n\n\n\nCompare common project delivery methods.\nDescribe the relationships among owner\, contractor\, and engineer on public works construction projects.\nDescribe common types of contract-required documentation.\nExplain the importance of communication with a contractor and stakeholders.\nIdentify methods for selecting a construction contractor.\nDescribe the function of a quality assurance program.\n\n\nAnyone managing public works construction projects who needs to develop construction management skills or wants to improve specific aspects of their project management approach. This may include: \n\n\n\n\nEngineers.\nDesigners.\nConstruction Inspectors.\nEngineering Consultants.\nAmerican Public Works Association Members.
