Strategies to address intersection safety are diverse\, and quite often a combination of strategies is needed to truly solve a problem.  Intersection safety topics include intersection safety data\, the choice of appropriate intersection designs\, and specific intersection safety countermeasures. \n\nMinnesota DOT will discuss Reduced Conflict Intersections\, including thorough evaluation results and geometric design considerations\nMissouri DOT will share how past success with innovative intersections inspired them to develop designs like the “diverge-about”\nIndiana DOT will present the achievements and challenges they’ve experienced advancing innovative intersections since developing their Intersection Control Evaluation (ICE) policy\nNorth Carolina DOT will showcase their experience with synchronized streets and other designs\, and their “safest feasible” approach\nGeorgia DOT will highlight their ICE policy and tools that helped them implement innovative intersections across the state\nBreakout sessions on Communication & Messaging\, Walking & Bicycling\, Cost and Constructability\, Safe System Approach\, and the Second ICE Age
