SUMMARY:Minnesota LTAP 2021 Demo Day Virtual Series: Cargo Securement Requirements and Updates on Recent Changes in CDL Driving Rules
DESCRIPTION:If you hold a Class A or B commercial driver’s license (CDL) and work for a government entity\, this session is for you. New requirements for government CDL drivers will be discussed. \nYou’ll also get the chance to refresh and learn new ways to properly inspect securement devices and secure cargo according to regulation requirements. Detailed cargo securement procedures will be presented and demonstrated. Participants will have the opportunity to inspect a secured piece of equipment in a small group setting and get answers to their securement questions. \nThe event is part of the 2021 Minnesota Roadway Maintenance Training and Demo Day Virtual Series.
