DESCRIPTION:Register for the free National Highway Institute course\, Introducing Human Factors in Roadway Design and Operations\, January 16-17 in Arlington\, Virginia. \n\n\n \n\n\nThis 2-day course provides an overview of human factors as they relate to the roadway environment and describes why it is necessary to incorporate human factors in the design and operation of roadways as a complement to existing standards and manuals for roadway design and operation. Additionally\, the course offers a review of specific guidelines\, as well as scenario-based case studies that allow attendees to apply the Human Factors Guidelines to real roadway situations.\n\n\n \n\n\nRegistration is free for local agencies.
